What is the history and popularity of the app?

Capsule went live in November of 2008. The creators wanted to build an online tool that allows users to manage their contacts, tasks, and other vital business details with complete flexibility. Of course, allowing so much flexibility can make a tool complicated. However, Capsule was also designed to remain simple so even the not so tech savvy can benefit from using the application.

What are the differences to other apps?

Capsule stands out in its focus on giving users an effective CRM tool that is also simple. A new user can get started within minutes, and without setting up a server. Capsule is also backed up and secure and requires no contract to use. The site focuses on customer convenience, which makes it a good choice for many businesses and professionals. The tools are not only versatile, but intuitive to further simplify the process for the user.

How does the registration process work?

New users can register for a Capsule account by clicking the orange “See Pricing and Sign Up” button found at the bottom left hand corner of the homepage. The user can choose from one of two account types by clicking the corresponding red button. The registration form asks for a first and last name, email address, username, password, company name, and time zone. The user can also choose their preferred Capsule website address. After clicking on the terms of use check box, the user can click the orange “Sign Up” button at the bottom of the form. The user can now login and begin accessing Capsule features.

Capsule is surprising budget friendly. Users are given two account options. The first is a free account which includes up to two users, 10 MBs of storage space, up to 250 contact entries, and unlimited opportunities and cases.
